Ville de Baie d'Urfé

The Town Council of Baie D'Urfé is composed of one mayor and six councillors.

The role of the Town Council is to:

  • represent the population
  • determine the town's priorities
  • manage and supervise daily activities and special projects.

Councillors, citizens and staff members sit on various advisory committees. 

Together, they make recommendations to the Town Council and strengthen their decision making process.

Ville de Baie d'Urfé

The Town Council is composed of a mayor and six councillors. Its role is to represent the population, to determine the Town’s priorities and to oversee special projects and daily activities. Councillors sit on different advisory committees along with citizens and staff members.

The committees' mandate is to make recommendations to Council to streamline the decision-making process.

The elected officials then make their decisions following these recommendations by means of resolutions or by-laws adopted at Council Meetings. 

Ville de Beaconsfield

City Council is composed of a mayor and six (6) councillors. Beaconsfield is divided into six (6) electoral districts. Each district is represented by a councillor elected by voters from the district. The mayor is elected by all voters in the City. 


City Council and Administration

The City of Côte Saint-Luc is administered by a mayor and eight councillors. The City Council is elected for a four-year period. Every City Council member is responsible for several portfolios, such as public works, traffic, parks and recreation, the environment and so on. In addition, every councillor is responsible for one of eight geographic districts.
